I've always been interested in Hooky and his Shergold 6.... however, I haven't had any good experiences with Eastwood's products.
The two guitars I bought from them (both "custom shop" exclusives) were straight up junk. And $1,300 or a Chinese-made instrument that doesn't even come
with a gig bag? I'll pass.

That's a shame you had bad experiences with Eastwood. Fingers crossed this one is built well. The Shergold really isn't like any other bass vi out there so I'm glad to see someone made a copy. I hope they do it justice.
