Precision 1968 all original
Hi, it's time to let it go....
Here is my favorite bass from my collection. A real player with the classic "thumpy" sound of vintage P-bass. Weigh is only 7.6 lbs. So light and easy to play.
It is all original and everything works great. The number 418 on both the body and the neck shows that those two belong to each other.
Frets show some wear but no buzzing at all and the sound is even all across the neck.
SN is 23XXXX
It comes with the original case but the metal plate with the Fender logo is gone... There is even the original instructions booklet
I'm asking 6,000 US + shipping. No trades

****Warning****
Of course this bass is under the CITES regulations.
I have the form for the export. I believe it is Indian rosewood compared to the rosewood of my J62, so the buyer doesn't need a permit for the import but the buyer needs to verify this on his/her side.

Folks,
I played this bass at Sly's house and it's a killer.
Plus Sly is top rated. You can buy this bass from him without the slightest concern.
The new owner will be a very, very happy camper.

I bought a lightly refinned '69 P from Sylvain and it's the best bass I've ever owned by far. Sylvain is a great guy and definitely an honest and ethical seller. It's a shame you have to part ways with that instrument, I hope it finds a good home!
