I had a 5 string one before.
Nice bass but I could never get the hang of the extra string and off the door it went, never to be seen again!

"Very good condition, headless, and the pickups have been replaced with Dimebag Darrell guitar humbuckers for wine reason."

Damn. I found this post too late. Been looking for one in a long while, no luck. I would pay some serious cash for one right about now. :-/

Sorry for being out of luck on this one, but I ended up snagging it.
I liked the 5 string so much, I took it everywhere when I was starting out playing with friends and had lots of pics and vids with it.
This makes a perfect travel bass without being awkward to play.
The only way I managed to play my 5'er was removing the B string and playing only EADG.
If I recall I traded it and a black BB300 for a brand new Dean Dave Mustaine guitar that I shipped over to my nephew as a gift from the Guitar Center in Albany NY.
With that being said I never really expected to find one and suddenly... Boom!
I still sat thinking about it but the seller just sent me a Paypal money request and that was just yesterday. But I actually called up on Saturday and said I was gonna buy it.
At least you know where the bass went and at first I let anyone here see but no one seemed interested and I couldn't let it pass as I wished so bad the one I had was a 4 string.
Just so you know, the seller DID included your email address in case I would decide to let it go in the future (very cool of him).
jersey bluesdude I guess I owe you 2 beers now? :)

I saw this posted on OfferUp at about 11 p.m.Friday night. I’m a huge headless fan, and I’ve been looking for one of these in lefty for YEARS. I immediately sent the seller a message asking if he’d ship it to NY, as it was listed as “local pickup”. Saturday I sent a message saying that if he couldn’t/wouldn’t ship, my brother would come over from Springhill to pick it up. I didn’t get a response to either message.

I decided that I’d just buy it and worry about picking it up later, but when I went to purchase it, it was already gone. I was SOOOOO mad when I saw that it sold.

I feel (*slightly* :D ) better that it went to someone here. If you ever decide to sell, please add me to your “must contact” list.

Knowing how badly I’ve wanted one of these (and I’ve never even owned one) I’m sure you’re thrilled. Enjoy your new toy!!!

I know they re-issued the Spirit XT-2, lefthanded model included. Here's to hoping that they eventually add the XZ-2 to the lineup...why are these so frickin rare??!

To clarify, mine is a 5 string, identical to The one in Paulo’s picture above!
