Re: Rebuilding my 77 Rickenbacker
Wow! Beautiful! I agree on the white truss rod cover. And you can always switch it back if it doesn't look right.

Wow, not cheap to go the white truss-rod cover route... anywhere from $99, and up! Here's one at Reverb for "only" $199....crescenze wrote:I second that emotion!donahue wrote:Wow! Beautiful! I agree on the white truss rod cover. And you can always switch it back if it doesn't look right.

Don't let John Hall find out about it, or he'll hit them with cease and desist injunction!Grant wrote:Yeah i thought of that but i needs to say Rick ...just not the same but I wonder if the guys that made my picguard can make that and with the Rick logodonahue wrote:Duuuuude, I read back a bit, and realized you had the pearloid pickguard made....and I had a lightbulb! Re: Rebuilding my 77 Rickenbacker
You might be able to get one at a good price thru one of the Chinese companies that make the Ric copies. I believe there are a few members here that have experience in dealing with some of them. Maybe they might have suggestions.Grant wrote:Yeah i thought of that but i needs to say Rick ...just not the same but I wonder if the guys that made my picguard can make that and with the Rick logodonahue wrote:Duuuuude, I read back a bit, and realized you had the pearloid pickguard made....and I had a lightbulb!
