Fender CS '57 Journeyman Precision Bass

Post by mrkode »

Up for sale is this superb Fender CS P-Bass

Quite simply the best "vintage" style P-Bass I played.

I don't know what Fender Custom Shop does exactly and if it's the wood or the pickups but these instruments have, for lack of better words and hard to explain, this woody, barky bite in the mids that no other P-Bass I tried or heard other then the vintage or CS Fender has.

Other than that, it plays beautifully, not a single dead spot whatsoever, the notes sing with authority and the pickups got this vintage kind of compression/saturation.

The relic job is awesome too.

It's been my main worlkhorse for the last year but I just fell back in love with my G&L LB-100 and the more modern low-mid tone it has for the type of gigs I have.

Price is: 2750$ US + Shipping

Comes with vintage tweed hard case, certificate of authenticity and case candies.

I would prefer to sell locally and I don't use Paypal so payments will have to be made through Interac transfer (Canada) or Transferwise (US and Overseas). Bitcoins also good.

Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any question you might have.

I don't have a small scale just to weigh the bass but it's light. Around 8,5/9 lbs based on the difference of me by myslef on my bathroom scale and me with the bass.

Isn't that the one from LA, which was a month ago for sale here?

Why do you sell it so fast again?

No, it’s not the same one.

I bought it in june of last year from a member here.

I’m selling it because my G&L LB-100 works better in the mix for the type of gigs that I have.
