Warwick Starbass II

Post by Malfunct8 »

I played a righty at a local music store, really liked it!! I have a deep desire for a EB2 style bass w/o a floating bridge. Now if it didn't cost 4K canadian!!

Where's local for you? I also tried a righty before and thought it sounded very good. Not in love with the Warwick headstock on such a retro body, but certainly a cool bass.

Local for me is Toronto. The Store was Long and McQuade. Not a huge fan of the headstock either but the neck felt great and the pickups sounded right (more classic less warwick) with 10 min of playing. I would love to get my hands on a blonde one. I'm not a usually a Warwick fan but this might sway me. If price was around 3k instead of 4 I think I would order one!
