Warwick Thumb4 NT and Thumb5 BO

Post by crabby »

I have a 2006 German Thumb4 Neck Thru. Absolutely dead mint with factory gig bag and user kit. Bubinga body, wenge neck with ebony board, 26 brass frets, full 3 band EQ and MEC pre amp and pickups. All original, never left the house. Zero wear. $2200 USD plus shipping.
Also selling my 2001 German Thumb5 Bolt On. Brass original "Just a nut", ovankol body, neck with wenge fingerboard. In fantastic condition, frets are like new, no damage or wear to the body. Will ship in a generic gig bag. $1200 USD plus shipping.
I haven't figured how to post photos yes since Photobucket stopped allowing third party hosting but I can email photos to anyone interested. Looking to sell within Canada as the CITES regulations are pretty clear about shipping over the border.

In reviewing the CITES regs, it looks like shipping the Thumb5 to the US is no issue as it's an ovankol body and neck with a wenge board. The Thumb4 has a Bubinga body which is on the list of prohibited woods. Hopefully that will tempt someone! :)

I had a Thumb BO 4 and it was a really nice bass, also sold it for $1200 at the time... That is one of the few I really regret selling!

I have let way too many nice basses go myself and will surely regret selling these two. I can see these German Warwicks becoming highly desirable eventually now that they are insanely expensive new and hardly anyone stocks them it seems.
