Roadstar Frankenbass
Re: Roadstar Frankenbass
Thanks!
I didn't expected to make it to look good but mostly so I could try a humbucker close to the neck with a P, ever since I played Bill's Outlaw bass I loved how it sounded and wanted to get a bass to sound just like it!

Paulo, you Always do an excellent job when refurbishing the project basses you pick up... looks great, and I'll bet it has a huge variety of sounds to tap from....

Wow, Cool Paulo!
Question: how did you manage to mount those tuners so cleanly?

That is super cool Paulo (did you do all that in your kitchen?) Credit where credit is due amazing.
Re: Roadstar Frankenbass
I made the mistake to do all the routing in the kitchen but I had a vacuum cleaner ready!
All other work was performed in the bedroom, I have a large glass top desk where I keep my desktop pc and small tools under.
This is a true "home made" frankenbass!

Re: Roadstar Frankenbass
Considering that new pickup is up close to the neck, it must sound really "Phat"!
