I've got a SX body with a Fender neck, it fits the neck pocket but the cavity is cut too deep, I wanted to raise and take the measurement to cut a shim to fit the whole surface of the neck pocket so in order to get the neck where I wanted, I had to add 3 guitar picks for each screw plus a thin piece of cardboard at the bottom 2 screws.
yes, a lot but once I have a proper shim made to cover the whole surface I will glue it down and it should be good I believe!
So I'll have to cut a shim that's 3.73mm thick then I'll try a couple pieces of copper tape at the lower part.
As it is right not the bass plays REALLY nice, perfectly setup so it should be even better once the shim covers the whole surface.
