It's finally here (8 months) and perfect. Basically an NOS 1960-61 RI. Sonic Blue w/matching headstock. Hand wound pickups/concentric knobs.

Holy Guacamole!! What a beautiful bass. Congratulations! That color is tripping me out. In the first photo the bass looked more white then it looked blue in the other photos. Nice Bass.

Unfortunately off, most likely. I may use the bridge cover though. That neck pickup cover just gets in the way.

That’s correct. Sounds killer, but to my ears this layout tends to be a little less mid-rangy than the VVT layout.
