SX Fender Jazz Bass Clone For Sale or Trade

SX Fender Jazz clone for sale or trade. Finish work done by our very own Wolf. The bass looks great and is in very good shape but I'm just not really sure I'm a Jazz guy. Since buying the bass I added: Black pickguard, Dimarzio PAF model J's, Hipshot USA ultralite tuners, Hipshot Kickass bridge, Straplocks. Also included with the bass is the original pearliod pickguard, Fender Chrome Covers, original bridge and tuners.

Full Disclosure, the screw for the original chrome string tree broke off in the neck, but the black string tree completely covers that up. Not noticible at all. Also there is the slightest gap right around the pickguard and contol plate where I didnt trim it just right. ( My first pickguard fit-up). Hardly noticeable unless you really look. This is a great bass that is pretty decked out. The last thing to do on it, if you really wanted to go the full distance is get a nice contol wiring setup. It still has the stock SX controls with the pesky backwards wired pots.

Bass ships with a pretty darn good roadrunner hardshell case. I paid $450 shipped for the bass before any of the hardware /pickup upgrades. So I guess we'll start right around there. If you like, I can remove the upgrades and return it to stock form, maybe leaving the Dimarzios in there for less money. If you would like more pics, please ask. I just started an imgur account and I'm still getting the hang of it.

I'm open to trades/partial trades: A bass with a P pickup in it, eminence kappalite drivers, pedals, amps pickups etc. Let me know what you have.

Thanks

Patrick

Here's a pic of the way it was when I sold it to Patrick. Thought it would be interesting to see before and after. Looks great both ways. The paint is custom mix with a mild pearl added.

Thanks Wolf. I still have all of those take-off parts, which are included with the sale/trade. The bass could easily be changed to look either way.

I don't know how to make these any smaller. Maybe Tim can chime in. I think he uses imgur. It works great and is easy, just large :)
