NBD! G&L SB-2

Post by paulo »

The finish is not for everyone but that's what I wanted!
The bass arrived a few days back but I didn't had a chance to take pics.
It came out better than I expected!
I ordered this bass through Upfront Guitars:

I for one love the finish. G&L clears and bursts are awesome.

I'm jealous!

Don't make it angry. You won't like it when it's angry.

I've been playing this bass for a couple of weeks and felt the neck was thinner than my LB-100, so I decided to measure it and...
Turns out the nut width was standard instead of the thicker one I had ordered and they at first decided to send me a new neck but after a couple of days they decided to send me a whole new bass at no additional so this is going to be returned as soon as I get the new one ready.
Looks like it's going to be up for sale soon!
Also since they are building me a new one they are going to add the block inlays to the fretboard!

They just gave you a free bass?

I will have to swap basses and the other one will be sold as used.
There's also an up charge of $150 for the block inlays.
Hopefully I can make it there tomorrow!
