Takamine Acoustic Electric Bass (EG5142CG)

Post by leftybassatl »

Finally getting around to posting a couple for sale...

This one I bought used several years ago, toyed with it a bit around the house, but never took it out of the house. Included in the sale is the case I bought for it, which has unfortunately housed it for several years in my closet :(. I just don't have a use for this thing, hopefully one of you will.

It has some surface swirling and minor scratches typical of a high gloss black finish, but no chips, cracks, etc.

I'd like to get $400 shipped, or $350 if you happen to be coming through Atlanta area and want to swing by! I'm open to offers and trades, but can't (shouldn't) take in any more electric basses :D, but would be interested in studio goodies (recording stuff, amps, etc.)

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I love my acoustics. I played my Boulder Creek for 20 minutes or so at work today to decompress between two difficult projects. Then back home I played my 2-yr old son to sleep with my Dean. Both have Chromes for a nice mellow, woody tone. I have lots of fancy electric equipment now, but I wouldn't play half as much as I do without an acoustic.

Unfortunately, I'm in Kailua, Hi, so it may take some doing for me to just show up on your doorstep... :)
