Italia Maranello w/ Hipshot hardware

Post by paulo »

Italia Maranello bass upgraded with Hipshot Ultralite tuners and a custom made Hipshot bridge that only this bass has.
I had the bass shipped directly to Hipshot and had Bill (Billw97) build the custom bridge to replace the poor quality stock bridge, now it has a one of a kind bridge matching the headstock and now you're able to adjust each individual string instead of dealing with the poor quality 2 point bridge.
Bill did an outstanding job with this bass and the improvements made quite a difference.
All of the original hardware replaced will be included too.
Shipping CONUS. $500 plus shipping.

Yep! :)
It came out nice but it wouldn't hold so I put it back into it's original look!

By saying it "wouldn't hold", you were able to peel the black off? If so, that's a good thing, because the sparkle looks cool in my opinion!
R&B Stretch Bass, Walter Woods 1000w Green-Light Stereo Amp, AccuGroove El Whappo and TR112, assorted axes, amps, cabs...

Yep that was just a rubber coating basically, I peeled it right out.
That's the only reason I gave it a shot! :)
