Wireless systems?

Post by jeffc3 »

Anyone tried a wireless system? I'm tired of the wire in the music room. (I hang the bass on the wall.)

Line 6 now has a 24bit digital wireless system that goes for 199. First one I've seen under 200 that has selectable channels.

Thoughts? Do these things sound like crap?

Thanks,
jeff

My uncle has a wireless system that he uses for his gigs. He Says that he gets a much clearer tone out of it and is allowed free movement on stage. But when he practices, he says he uses a wire. Personally, I'd stick with the wire because they're easy to replace, they're less expensive.

I have an X2 system that I like. It doesn't suck tone when used at home or rehearsal or gigs until the drummer kicks in and then it doesn't matter 'cause I can't hear squat after that! LOL
Seriously tho, I do like the X2.

 i know that feeling when the drummer kicks in... thats why I've been to the doc one too many times for punctured eardrum, but it's worth it.
