MM Stingray 5, $450, Palm Beach Craigslist

Post by NoXX »

Price is waay low- not sure what's going on here. Anyone in the Florida area? Could be a killer deal if legit.

So fake.
Back decal is in the wrong place and MM doesn't offer a dual humbucker model lefty.

Beat me to it Matt, I was just going to ask if MM made a lefty model like this. I didn't think so but I also haven't paid attention to new MM offerings in a while.

Now that I think about it, all of the 5'ers I've played upside down had the "swoosh" style pick guard, not the tear- drop style you find on the 4's.

Body also looks strange...a little blocky around the edges and the horns are cut weird. You did get me excited for a minute though, my family is in West Palm and I was about to make a few phone calls... :)

That's one of the most horrible knockoffs I've ever seen.

F Bass BN5 • ZON Legacy Elite 5 • ZON Sonus Elite 5 Fretless • ZON Sonus BG5 • Fender Custom Shop '64 NOS Jazz • Fender Custom Shop '75 NOS Jazz • Fender ADE Precision • Music Man SR4

He is definitely misrepresenting this calling it a real Stingray, but at least he's selling it at a knockoff price.

I do like that wall mounted guitar holder!

I hadn't noticed that. It's pretty sweet! Assuming it's secure.
