Hey Kids -
Cleaning house once again.
Roscoe 3005 LG Fretless with lines.
Multi piece neck. Quilted Maple Top over what looks to be alder - not 100%
This has been my main fretless for the last 15 years - it is one of Keiths earlier basses built for a man named "Ercel"
Anybody know if he is on here btw?
The bass was built lefty strung righty so I do not have the correct nut for you normal folks - sorry. Easy fix.
I updated the preamp to the Bart Vol (push pull active passive)/Blend/Bass/Treble/Stacked sweep mid (push pull)
Original Bartolini Soapbars.
Currently tuned EADGC
Strung with half wounds.
Bass is very ergonomic and plays well - as you can see in the pics it has been loved on with chips and dings but no damage that effects tone or playability….just honest wear.
It has dunlop strap locks
There is no case - First buyer of any of my sale basses gets the option to include a double electric bass gig bag for $50
If you want to hear this bass any of the current fretless sounds on my site have this bass on them.
Asking $1200 with shipping included.
Paypal or cash (19390)
Shipping to CONUS only at this point.
Thanks!
rob.

On hold.....
Re: Roscoe 3005 LG Fretless
This bass is back on the market - with a few changes. It has now been returned to regular lefty setup with the low B and Dunlop Rounds.
A new bone nut was cut.
I can bring the bass to the Philly guitar show for anyone that plans on going - I'll be there Saturday am.
Best offer over $1050

Re: Roscoe 3005 LG Fretless
Can't afford it (even though it's a Great Price!), no room for it with all of the basses I currently own (when doesTHIS ever matter!
), BUT; if it sounds as good as it looks, it's a Sweet Deal! Geez, even new Carvin costs more than this, and there is No-Way they measure up! (Nothing against Carvin, I own two of them!)
R&B Stretch Bass, Walter Woods 1000w Green-Light Stereo Amp, AccuGroove El Whappo and TR112, assorted axes, amps, cabs...

@bassaria
Saw it going from a shop in NJ for 1900. I'm seeing what their bottom line is, because it looks like a pretty high margin from your price.
You can't hide the history of a bass like this with the Ercel graphic

Truth. Anyone here ever met or know this Ercel?
