Heck yeah, man! I'm glad you got it back. How is the action?

You didn't buy chance purchase this bass from a Craigslist ad out of Bowling Green, Kentucky, did you?

Rickenbacker all day and all night! :geek:

Thanks! But I didn't got it back yet, took these photos when i first got it and gave it a good clean up. This was the dirtiest bass i ever owned, there was crust all over it! I had to remove the bridge, pickguard, pots to clean it all up also gave it a nice wax. I call this bass "Krusty" since i got it! I thought about leaving the sticker just cause it's there for all these years but looking closer... yes Matt i have to agree with you! I'll take care of it as soon as i get it back!

Always been curious- why do you guys leave those on? I see people leave their pickguard plastic & huge stickers on Fenders a lot too.

In my situation, the bass sat in the case for a few years while I finished school, raised a family etc. etc. Then the internet happened and I saw the controversy re the PG sticker so I just wanted to be difficult and annoy as many musicians as possible.

Man, it is such a bummer to see a nice bass get so neglected. I am glad you are taking care of it!

Look at this horror story:
