That's insane! Without really knowing about the condition, I'd say if it was in good-to-good+ shape, on eBay it could go for $1000-$1200.

Wow, really? I personally like the Mustang better, because of that awesome splitcoil pickup. It's much thumpier and beefier. I love Musicmasters too, but to me personally, the Mustang takes the cake.

I am a guitar player. I play bass sometimes but not that much. I sold the mustang to get the funds to buy a guitar I had an eye on for a long time!

Soundwise the Musicmaster and the mustang are very different. I just love their necks!
