After pictures of the neck swap!
Over the last week, myself and another member swapped necks on our basses, I gave him my fretless MIM Fender neck and he gave me a beautiful Warmoth maple fretted neck with a nice set of tuners. The swap was easy and Frank was a great guy to deal with. The neck plays so well and is rock solid. I added a waterslide decal I made, which I chose because my band (and the thing I'm most proud of being a part of musically) is called Orca. I'm going to upload the music to a bandcamp soon hopefully if you'd like to check it out.

Thanks guys! I'm not sure if it's ok with forum rules, but the bandcamp is orcametal.bandcamp.com if any of you want to check it out! It's instrumental so no screaming to worry about! I recorded with mostly my Bongo.

I agree. I'm still relatively new here, but I definitely like it. People always go "That's a thing?!" when I tell them about it, but it seems like a pretty tight-knit group of good people.fivebass52 wrote:Nicely done! This is what I enjoy about our forum; lefties helping lefties! Well done guys!

Yeah it's an overall friendly forum with lots of good folks. And a great place to buy/trade without worrying about getting screwed. Welcome aboard.

I feel like I found an online home since I joined a few years ago. I'm on the site every day. And be careful, it's certainly an enabler - I think I've bought more than a handful of basses since hanging out here... so hard to resist sometimes!Matt R. wrote:orcabassist wrote:I agree.
