N(O)BD - Fender '69 P

Post by reynoldbot »

Hey Gang,

I recently purchased Sly's 1969 Fender Precision bass, and as I received it last night I thought I'd show it off here! She's not all original - the body was refinished some time in the past and the headstock decal was changed for some reason (possibly because the late 60's-70's Fender decals looked horribly awkward on lefty basses). The bass was also kept in a very moist or humid environment for some time - there's tons of tarnish on the knobs, screws, tuners, etc. She's a real lightweight at about 7.6 lbs (!) and plays phenomenally well. I gotta admit I am a satisfied customer!

Enjoy the bass. Sorry about the Purolator service though, it was so long...
