I love my '97 Fender Japan sunburst jazz bass. I never have to adjust the neck, it's that stable. I'm a bass and guitar tech, 45 years now. Great basses. I have four Fender Japan instruments- two p-basses, and two jazzes. One jazz was assembled from parts, not a factory made bass. I did some tasteful mods- reverse tuners, allthread bridge, Nordstrand pickups. But it was just fine before the mods, too.

I was eyeing that white one- but I already have a lot of basses! Good luck with your new bass!
