The Fralin split coil pickups alone are worth over $250. And the volume/blend /tone controls are a great option for a Jazz. Seems like a more affordable alternative to the Fender American Design thing. Warmoth quality is renowned. If I wasn't such a P bass guy I would seriously consider this. Anyone in the Chicago area?

Agreed, this bass is a fantastic deal!
The body and neck alone would cost around $800 to order from Warmoth.
Considering the the rest of the parts, case and setup cost the seller is taking a bath at that price.

FYI: I messaged the seller a bit back. The frets are mini (piccolo) frets. He said the smallest he could get from Warmoth.
