I gotta say, I am super impressed overall. The bass is really nice quality. My only gripe is the jank-ass gold hardware, which will be summarily removed and replaced with chrome, providing I like the instrument enough. Hardware seems good quality enough, I just think the gold looks lame. Who knows, it may grow on me.
But it came setup nearly perfect (needs an ever so slight neck tweak but is absolutely giggable), and it even had the D'Addario strings I play installed from the factory. Frets are even , well polished and smooth. No rough ends whatsoever.
The pickups sound great. I keep reading things about how they are mediocre sounding, but I was able to get a lot of different sounds out of them just noodling around with it. Controls are master volume, bass, treble and blend. Could get everything from a terse piano like tone to deep thundery lows. This is my first six string, so the neck is a football field, yet comfy. But for $350, this thing came out swinging.
