FS Squier Vintage Modified w/ Upgrades

Post by Matt R. »

Looking for a little cash to help pay off some recent purchases, so I'm unloading a couple things. Here's a Squier VM Jazz I bought recently and did some cool upgrades to it, and it's a great player. Feels & sounds really good.

I added 70s reissue Fender logo tuners, a Fender 70s reissue bridge, an "F" logo neck plate, thumbrest, and the control assembly is all Fender American Standard. A 70s style Fender script headstock decal has also been added, and it's covered in clear coat. Weight is roughly 9lbs on my bathroom scale.

It's pretty nice looking, as I usually see these with horribly mismatched pieces of wood that make up the body. ;)
Anyway, for a Squier, I think this would make a pretty respectable gigging bass. It really does play & sound great.

There's no case or gig bag, but will be packed carefully. I am asking $250 shipped, lower 48 states ONLY. No exceptions. And no trades please. Here are a few pix:
