MTD KZ 5-string with US Bartolini Electronics!

I have for sale a minty MTD KZ 5-string upgraded with Bartolini US pickups and preamp, designed specifically for this model. See specs here:

As I understand, MTD doesn't sell these electronics but rather are only available in the ZX model, which is not available left-handed. I got this bass from an MTD endorsee and he got the electronics installed by them for him in the KZ. Good deal.

A comparable set of pickups and preamp will cost around $440.

Bass is in mint shape, no wear to disclose. Not brand-new, but pretty much. This basses can be setup with the most ridiculouly low action you could possible want, so it plays itself. Nice throaty sound from the neck pickup and the B-string is VERY good.

Other specs:
Mahogany body, burl maple top
Maple neck and board
Asymmetrical neck profile - very easy to play
Bass is very light, around 8 lb or lower
Bartolini US soapbar humbuckers - dead silent
Bartolini 3-band EQ with selectable mid frecuency and passive bypass

Here are some more pictures. Also, I'm including a hard case in the deal. It is in fair shape and still has many years of use in it. Fits the MTD perfectly.

This is a great 5-string folks. You won't find a 5-string this light, with this playability and with prime US electronics anywhere near this price left-handed. . . Just saying. This bass sells new for $1289 (outrageous), plus $440 for the Bartolini electronics, plus $80 for the hard case. . . new price would be $1809.
