Happy to report that the bass arrived today intact and in great shape (despite the fact that the US Army handled it from Chicago to Germany!).

This bass is a keeper (instant awesome snarl even through my POS practice amp at work) and Addison did a great job packing it and communicating with me for the entire process. If he ever decides to sell something else from his quiver that appeals to me and gets approved by the CFO in my house, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from him again.
