Hey everyone! Lots on inquiries on my basses so far. I'm away in Bermuda right now until Sunday, so I'll get back to everyone then. Internet access is extremely limited and expensive here.

Back home now. Bermuda's a beautiful place, but boy do you get nickel and dimed at every turn. Hotel wanted to charge me $17 a day for internet service. :x I don't think so. My Verizon cell plan didn't work either. Anyway, I'm around to answer your questions. Thanks

I have come back to this thread to look at that Warwick so many times that if it was a girl she would have a restraining order against me.

And, like the girl, I keep wondering, "what if I never get this opportunity again?"

Hi Pete,

Tell me a little more about this Thumb... How does she play? Pretty good condition?

With the right setup, would it sound anything like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gz-oxs90X6Y He looks to be playing a PJ (Streamer?) (Not that I am trying to copy that guy, but I think that's a pretty good place to start for the sound I would be looking for.)

Does this bass require any special care? I heard that these oil-finish basses require regular waxing.

Also, suppose at some point I would like to tune this bass to B. Do you believe a heavy-gauge set of 4 would work, or do you think I should get a 5-set and use the low four strings? If I do the second option, would the nut require modification? I would really rather not modify the bass in any way, even if it means keeping it in standard tuning, and I certainly don't want to use any string gauges and tunings that would be bad for the neck.

Thanks!

I received the Artcore today. My first hollow body. It was nicely set up, well packed and exactly as described. I'm pleased beyond my expectations.
Merry Christmas to me! LOL!
Thanks Pete.
