Here he is in a pro-shot video by EMG Studios playing his fretless Zon Legacy Elite 5... sounds killer.

They are a talented and tight band for sure.

Hate to sound critcal (maybe because I'm working WAY too many hours ...) but I think the bass got short changed in the mix. it's center panned in the beginning, but buried under the guitars. Then when it moves to the last section in the song, it gets panned to the right? Wazzup with that??!??!!?!?!! And it's still kinda buried ... Maybe it's just the phones i'm using at work, I'll try to give it a listen at home ...

Thanks for sharing tho!

I agree... there could always be more bass in the mix.

Seriously though, I do agree it could come up more, if only for the fact that it's fretless and lacks the "bite" of a fretted bass.

I could hear bass through both speakers through the whole song, though... it may have been just slightly favored to the right during that last instrumental section with the cool bass fill, but it was definitely in both for the whole tune.

I'm wondering if they mixed it to show off the pups. Both guitars are panned pretty hard L-R too. But like I said, I have semi-crappy headphones and work, not to mention a 'orrible 'orrible corporate sound card, so I do need to give it a relisten. just seems to me they could have accented the mwah factor a little more.
