2004 Music Man Stingray 5 Bass w/ Hardshell case (Natural)

Up for sale is this perfect condition left handed 2004 Music Man StingRay 5 Five String bass.

It comes with the original hard shell case and has been fully inspected and set up with a new set of Ernie Ball Super Slinky Bass strings and a new 9 volt battery. The neck is straight and the frets have no visible wear on them. All of the electronics work great and as you would expect from a Stingray, it sounds great. There's no ding or scratches. I'll include the original pickguard (tortoise) and a black pickguard (as seen in the pictures).

Made in USA, 2004. It comes from a non-smoking environment and has been very well cared for.

This bass is really nice. It has the MusicMan Classic look, with the natural Swamp ash body and black pickguard. I'm selling it because I need the money to buy a 6 string bass (a Warwick 6 string bass). I can't afford to keep both basses...! I really love MusicMan StingRay basses, but I wish they could make a lefty Bongo 6 one of these days (or even a StingRay 6)!

This 2004 SR5 is the last year of the standard nuts. The following year I believe was the first of the trademark "compensation" nuts. I had a bass with it. I hated it but it supposedly really did work for proper pitch up and down the board.
