Post by ricktim83 »

might be interested in letting go of my 2004 white stingray. 4 string, black pickguard, rosewood fret, matching headstock, tiny bit of road wear. can someone clue me in to what the street value is so i can make the decision of whether or not its worth selling? havent seen any lately for sale so i dont have a clue. thanks!

I had a white 'Ray with matching headstock in pristine condition. I bought it used for $900. I thought it was a good deal. ;)

I sold it for the same amount to a local lefty.

I'd say with a little wear, probably $800 easy, and maybe $850.

posting some pics so you can see what i mean by "road wear". there is some belt rash on the back of the body that didnt really come out in the pic. nevermind the victoria's secret bag (xmas presents).

well i keep going back and forth on whether or not i want to sell it. it was a gift so im having a hard time with it. i guess if someone hits me with the right offer then ill decide. i know thats not how the for sale page works, im just having some difficulty putting a price on it. i guess im seeing if there is a want out there for it.

I'll buy it if you throw in the white slippers and the victoria's secret bag WITH what's inside.

If you do decide to sell it, how would you feel about posting to the UK? I realise a lot of people on here are reluctant to do so, so no worries if you don't fancy it.

A magnificent beast she is. Plays, looks and sounds fantastic. I'm so stoked to be a Stingray owner again. And the rest of the family has accepted her:

Also, I gotta say if any of you guys here have an opportunity to do business with Rick, don't hesitate. He's super cool, honest and a pleasure to work with. 8-)
