Mike Lull M5V

Post by darkkent »

This is a bad ass bass no doubt. I recently got my hands on an Xotic XJ-1T that suits my style a little better so after changing my mind repeatedly, I've decided to sell this one. If I was more of a baller I'd hang onto the Lull but I don't have it like that.......yet!

Anyway.....

Mike Lull M5V
Alder body with a birdseye maple fretboard
Bartolini NTMB wired Vol-Blend-Mid- Bass/treble stack

This bass is in great condition, a 9.5 out of 10 I'd say. There are a couple of minor blemishes on the back which I doubt will even show up in a picture and some wear on the pickguard which is to be expected. If you want more pics hit me up at bryan@bdeanmusic.com and I'll gladly send them forth.

Comes in a molded hardshell case.

2,200.00 plus shipping.

Thank you!

B Dean a.k.a. Dark Kent

I back up everything Bryan says about this bass. I played it. Mike Lull makes some great Jazz basses and this guy plays and sounds very good.

Street price on these new went up $300 Feb 2012. Street price is $2750 plus 15% upcharge for left handed and $200 for case. Do the math. This is a good deal.

Good luck with the sale!

This beauty is still looking for a home, holler at me my fellow lefty soldiers! I'll be putting this on Ebay eventually if I have to, but I'd rather sell it through these cozy confines.

Enjoy the day.

Guys, if your looking for a very nice playing jazz bass, grab this quick. I am sure Thumbslam and Addison can back this one up. They both owned/own my old white Lull 5 string. Great built basses by one of the BEST builders in the industry.

If my tax refund had two extra zero's to the left of the decimal, this would be mine. Bummer ... :(

I'll be honest with everyone here...

I already have one of these... and I would buy another one today, if I had the dough... without hesitation.

I'm lucky enough to have owned several amazing basses... USA Lakland, Zon, high end Warwick, Modulus, etc... and my M5V is easily in the top 2... everytime somebody sells one, I scratch my head because it blows my mind that anyone would let theirs go (all due respect to those who have... GAS kills! ).

Anyway... I just wanted to chime in and let you guys know that I will envy whoever picks up this bass.

I will NEVER sell mine.

They're THAT GOOD.

Ok folks, I've dropped the price on this one to 2000.00 plus shipping. Addison may be right that I may be crazy for selling this bass! Hit me up before I regain my sanity.

Dang Brian, you always have great basses! I'd like to own another of your fine basses, but this one is a bit too far out of my price range, plus, in the past month I've bought two basses and a fretless neck... I'm tapped out for now!
:x ;)

I hope it goes to a good home before going on the Bay...

Hello family,

This bad boy is still for sale. I haven't been aggressively trying to sell this bass because I do dig it and was still gigging with it. However it's, not my go to axe, it's a close 3rd to my Lakland Deluxe and Xotic XJ-1T. I wish I could keep it but I need loot for other things, i.e rig upgrades and lessons. As Addison said, whoever gets this bass will be very happy. I'm gonna dip under the 2 grand mark to see if that does it for anyone.

Now up for 1900.00 people. Holler at cha boy!!!
