I think Addison got johntheleftybassist's old white relic bass like this one. He could probably chime in best here on the tone. I agree, its nice but inflated prices...

Mine sounded like a kick ass jazz bass... it was killer. Built like a tank and the relic job on it was fantastic. Very tasteful.

I sold it to Funky42 John, only because I already had a team built alder/rosewood cutom shop jazz and they were just too similar... I ultimately kept the one I did only because seafoam green is my favorite vintage color. Not for any other reason, really.
