I'm not sure how accurate that statement, "Only 9 lefties made in the 70's" is, and Gibson definitely made lefty walnut EB3s prior to '75.

I'd like to get one of those Guild SG-like basses. I saw a lefty on ebay not too long ago and it only went for like $700 or a little more. Anyone know anything about these?

The Jetstar bass! I've never played a lefty, but I'd take one over a Gibson SG type, just because they look so much cooler.
