Hot damn! Even the case has got the mojo. That there is a bass to take to the grave...or will to me. ;)

I'd return it, it's got scratches, dents and rust all over...

J/k, looks stunning! What an amazing colour, and beautiful birdseye maple neck. Congrats!

Wowie zowie. Congratulations indeed. Enjoy!!
Sometimes I think, maybe I'm lucky I'm left handed. If I could play any bass I wanted, my collection would REALLY be out of control.

Relic-ed without going overboard - how a well-maintained bass would look if it had been bought in '58, and used, not abused over the years by a loving owner.... Congrats, and enjoy!

Is that a "relic" or a "closet classic" finish?

HI GUYS! THANKS FOR ALL THE KIND WORDS ! THIS BASS WAS PURCHESED FROM GUITAR BROKERS OUT OF FLORIDA, IT IS A TEAM BUILT RELIC ,BUT WAS RELICED VERY TASTEFULLY,AS SOON AS I SEEN HER,I KNEW I HAD TO HAVE HER! LOL! THE BASS SOUNDS AMAZING AND WAS SET UP PERFECT! CRAIG BRODY,THE OWNER OF GUITAR BROKERS KNOWS WHAT HES DOING WHEN HE HAS THE CUSTOM SHOP BUILD BASSES FOR HIM,MY 1960 FENDER CUSTOM SHOP JAZZ CAME FROM THE HIM THAT I PURCHESED OFF OF ADDISON LAST YEAR AND WAS ALSO VERY TASTEFULLY DONE! I DID A LITTLE INVESTIGATION OF THE FENDER CUSTOM COLOR COPPER METALLIC AND FOUND OUT THAT BACK IN THE EARLY 50'S THAT THER WERE A FEW TELECASTERS PAINTED IN COPPER METALLIC! ITS REALLY A COOL COLOR AND TAKES ON A LIFE OF ITS OWN IN DIFFERENT LIGHTING! I LOVE THIS BASS!!

You did say copper metallic but for some reason my eyes skipped over that part. The bass looks burgundy mist on my monitor (another beautiful color). Copper is one of my favorite Fender finishes ever. I had mentioned that I saw a lefty Fender '52 RI copper Tele in another thread years ago and never jumped on it. I regret that decision to this day. :(
