WTB: Fender american deluxe jazz bass

Post by peej »

As stated, looking to pick up a lefty fender american deluxe jazz bass. Got a chance to play one a few years ago and loved it... then fender discontinued them!

Anyways I'm not too picky about the colour so lemme know if you're interested in selling or know of someone who is.

Thanks, Preston

Southpaw guitars in the Houston area still has one last I checked, which at this point is a year ago. I bought one in Arizona, and had called Southpaw about theirs. I ended up going with the one in AZ because I had a chance to personally play it and I love it.

Here is a link.

Good luck with the search. If I ever decide to sell, I will give you a heads up.

Yeah - I want both of them!

Now I just need to find a way to get all that money they're asking. I guess buying used is more in line with my budget :-)

Actually, that one is not there anymore. When I called them about it about a year ago now, they had informed me that the black one was no longer available. Interestingly, a Sam Ash in NYC had one recently but sold it after they dropped the price to about a $1300 or so.
