White EBMM Stingray 4 -

Post by Frenchy-Lefty »

White SR4 (The Ice Queen) in mint condition - Looks great, sounds awesome - Previously owned by two other board members, Andrew and bbl - It is a 2004 - $900 + shipping within the US only - I posted some sound clips on http://www.bandmix.com/philippegrapinet/ under Stingray 1 2. Just messing around to demo the bass. On the cheesy "Stingray 2" the bass is tuned one-step lower, hence the super heavy notes. Comes with the Musicman case.

Yes it is. I live by San Jose in case you happen to ride toward no cal. Sorry, I took the sound clips out of my bandmix but let me know if you want to hear them. I just sell it in order to buy a new Weissenborn (Hawaiian Lap-Steel)

I am definitely interested in making the purchase. Since I don't live in northern California and cannot try out the bass, can I have some information on any buzz or damage that the bass may have? I don't mind body dings or scratches.

The bass is like new - No scratches, all original parts - Plays like butter with no buzz or fret issues. I am pretty anal about taking care of my instruments and I bet Andrew and bbl are too. It initially had a white pickguard and I'll give it to you with the bass although black looks a million times better.

They can confirm that the "Ice Queen" is a great bass. Same as Gravesbass who got to play it once. According to him, it has a really fast neck.

Board members bbl and Gravesbass have done business with me in the past and can attest that you won't have to worry dealing with me.
If you are in LA and not in a huge hurry, we could arrange to meet in the middle by San Luis Obispo as I often take a surf trip down there in the first weeks of may. Or shipping's fine. Payment through Paypal. We can discuss all this through PM.

Lots of respect for Phillipe (aka frenchy-lefty). Yes, I played this bass. I loved it. It had a great neck and the bass sounded really good even with dead strings. Thats a sign of a great bass. Great StingRay if your looking for one and a very fair price. Buy with confidence as what he says is what you will get.

Good Luck with the sale!!
