Question for Lakland JO and BG aficionados

Post by bbl »

What would the street value be for a used lefty Lakland JO body (with Fralins and stacked knobs) with a used lefty Lakland BG neck (1.75" @ nut)? Both in excellent condition.

Do you think there'd be some demand for this "Jazz" bass with a wide "P" neck? Would the value be higher if Lakland did the neck installation?

Thanks. :P

What's the back story on this bass?

The bass doesn't exist.. yet. :)

I was thinking about buying that Glaub (in New Jersey) and attaching my JO neck to it. Then selling the "other" bass (a JO body with Fralins + BG neck) to fund it.

I think others have special ordered JOs with the wider BG neck, so I'm guessing that someone will buy it at a reasonable price.

Who names a product line "JO"? I can't take it seriously. Maybe they should start making a KY series of preamps.
