I know this guy. He takes care of his basses. These fretless basses sound sick! It's strung up righty.

I wonder if he ordered it that way or if he had the nut flipped/or flipped it himself? Gorgeous bass.

He ordered it custom from Pedulla that way. I almost bought it like 2 years ago from him. Its been sitting in his case for years. Good bass... Great fretless tone that sings for days. If I didn't have a Wal and F-Bass for sale, I would snag her.

Same here. Having the Wal I think I've got my "mwah" tones covered, and I'm not really a 5 stringer (thoguh I am entertaining taking the plunge some day).

It's already strung up the way I need it, but one too many strings. :(

I put my bid in. . . ;)

I've also been after that bass for awhile, but Jeff was not too motivated to sell it. I guess he is now.

Let's see what happens. (Lefty007 walks away, mumbling loudly. . . "I hope nobody else bids on it. . .")

I mentioned to Jeff what happened to the blue Pedulla several weeks ago. All of a sudden it was up on the bay. Damn him...
I had a Pedulla Raptor 5 string lefty that had the same style fretless coated neck. The coating on the Pedulla basses is killer. It sings without effort. I suspect this bass will sell for over 2,000.00 because they are hard to come by. Pedulla is also a great little company and take care of their customers. Good luck Andrew. She's a beut. make sure you get the special tool from Jeff. the neck cannot be adjusted without it. I ordered one from Pedulla direct.

Nah, I got outbid and won't bid again. It's a nice bass but I know it's heavy (9.5+ lb, according to Jeff) and that's a no-no for me. I figured if i got it for $1500 it was a good deal enough to forget about the weight.

It is definitely worth up to $2500, at least. They actually are around $3500 to order new. Somebody will walk away with a nice deal.

And it went for $1525, just $25 more than my bid. :( What a deal.

Anyway, another day, another bass.

Yea, we all had GAS on that bass. Well, you can always pick up my F-Bass and cut off the wings for a lighter bass

I bought this Pentabuzz and haven't flipped the nut yet.I also have a 92 buzz bass with the PJ pickup configuration. My others include a Ken Bebbebsee 4 Baroque style(you can see the pics on Kens website. An alembic custom semi-hollow body,A 62 reissue jazz made in Japan but with US electronics that I run a Sadowsky preamp pedal in front of.And a new Ricky 4003 I just bought yesterday.I just logged in here and saw you guys discussing the Pedulla. My high bid on it was actually $2160 so I'm glad everyone gave up on the bidding.

Welcome to the site John, and congrats on scoring another Pedulla. Sounds like we need some pics of your collection, a semi-hollow Alembic I gotta see.

The Alembic is very unusual and had to be a one off custom order from some maniac.it's the stanley style body and all maple top(very quilty)and a tighter tiger stlye on the back, set neck, single pickup(I'm not sure with one it really is,mxy?Just three simple knobs and a a 32 inch scale and it sounds great and really slick...Check out the Ken Bebbensee 4 string picked up from a local studio.Just go to the website and look at the baroque style bass(it's the only lefty)This guy makes some solid basses.it has some very fine points on the matching wood back but it's almost symantics when you plug it in.SICK.Anyway.I'll try to post some pics soon on my myspace cause it's easier for me that way.
