A tiny bit of lefty-love in the new issue of Bass Player...

Post by Addison »

A left-handed Aussie reader wrote in to express his disapointment that Fender did not produce any lefty versions of their anniversary J-Bass and they actually printed the letter!

Was it anyone here?

I was surprised... IIRC, there were only 3 letters printed regarding that specific article. One of them was from the Fender PR rep, thanking Bass Player for the write-up, and the last one was the lefty letter.

Pretty neat that JH would think it was enough of an issue to include it.

I'll try to remember to scan the page and make it available for download.

Who's on the cover? Is this the issue after the one with Stevie Wonder's bassist on the cover?

We get them a tad slower in Canada. Plus the BP mag website sucks (what a mess), so you can't tell what the current issue is from their site anymore.

Ummm... upright player... can't think of his name... :?

But, yes, it's the issue after the Nathan Watts cover... I just got it yesterday.

Anyone else think the ad for human growth horomone in the back of the latest BP mag is utterly tasteless? Are BP really that hard up for advertisers?

I almost purchased one today but it was basically the size of a instruction manual. I couldn't believe how thin it was. I bought England's version of bass player instead.

I enjoy that mag much more than BP.

I always thought that steroids had the opposite effect. ;)

BP is one big collection of ads these days. Very little content.
