Have to see what the wood looks like under the finish before natural would be considered, but if it's good then I think the bass would look cool in natural finish. Congrats on the deal guys!

Jim is correct I am the king of the drunken rant.Was doing some thinking and believe black would probably be great as the maple top is probably nothing flashy anyway.Hmmm all black all over that reminds of a bass that made the rounds on this board.Anyway probably be gone awhile on the refin'.I'll let you guys know when it's finished.

You'll appreciate this bass. I was on the verge of having it repainted with a metal flake rock star finish when Dave offered me a Ray 5 I couldn't refuse....Enjoy!
