Leftieray, wonderful time capsule of shots. Please tell me what basses you're playing in those shots, as they look out of the ordinary.
I'm still experimenting with height. I'm finding some basses require a higher setup while others require lower, as others have mentioned. A T-Bird, for example, is almost impossible to play high unless you're a gibbon and have the arm's length to reach those first frets.

The 1972 shot is a Gibson Ebo righty strung lefty. the 80's shot is Lefty Vantage VS600B. The colour shot is a week ago at my 60th my bass is a Regenerate guitar works Heritage 55 which I love.

Andrew, Here's a couple of foto's of the Heritage 55. The band is playing in old tin shed out in the bush, a 50th birthday party for an old fan. Like the rest of us.Hehe
