That's how Fender should've done it! Looks good. :)

Looks aren't everything. Personally, I don't believe it's a USA standard body (there was no such animal until this year, and I don't recall CAR being an option), and I don't like the neck without binding. Then there's the fact that it's an Eden neck, which could easily be a piece of crap, based on the fact that they sell for under $50 on ebay all the time.

 I'm not saying the rest of the bass is any good, I just think the headstock logo looks good. :)

Well, I guess I agree by default, because this is how my headstock looks:

His looks a bit different, like the words "Jazz Bass" are a different size.

Yours looks good too. I've always liked the big headstock logo and wished Fender had used it like this in the 70's. We were talking about this headstock logo (or lack of it) in another thread.

BTW, how are you doing Dan? How's the job hunt going?

That was my thought as well. Unless the body's over 20 years old or made this year there's no way it could be a US body. I also wish he used another Fender logo on this. Something about that white outline doesn't look right to me, unless it's a gold outline and the camera's making it look white (Yours looks right, however).

Fender got pretty "creative" with headstock logos on lefties. Check out the layout on my Tele bass:

I'm ok, but no job yet. I think I'll start playing the lottery, so I can retire and get a Tele Bass!
