Nice! What are the details on the P-bass?

Also I'm not into CTs but man that one is a beauty..

I picked the PBass up at a local music store about seven years ago for $300.00. It was a natural finish swamp ash body with a white pick guard. I refin'd the bass with clear nitro over a green stain after I filled the ash pores with a black filler to raise the grain contrast. I pulled the stock pickup (on loan to a friend!) and had Larry Pollak of Aero Instruments wind me a pickup. A cut the pick guard from stock purchased at StewMac. The ashtray and pup cover are Fender aftermarket parts. I installed some old, used Labella flats I had from some projects from the early 1980's and stuffed some foam storm window insulation under the ashtray - real thick old school sound. Getting the thick polyester finish off the bass and replacing it with nitro really opened up the sound, although it loses that pristine old stock status. At $300, I bought the bass to play it, not hang it on the wall and look at it (who would have guessed what they would be selling for today!). A couple of years later I found a 78 Jazz in worse shape than the PBass for just a few bucks more. Same particulars, clear natural finish with a black pick guard. It got the same makeover - now I have lefty twins!

I still have both kidneys, so I could definitely sell one of those.
