Unfortunately a combination of family health problems, career setbacks and business failures have put me in the position of needing money and never having time to play anyway. So I'm looking to sell off a few basses, including the natural 71 P I've had since I was a kid. Original bone nut, well set up and plays beautifully. I'm told1971 was a particularly good year for P's, and I believe it. The only major blemish is a hole on the bottom horn where the first owner tried to put a strap lock to play it upside down. They had replaced the pots, which I replaced with factory originals from the year of manufacture. There are a few other very small scratches, but they are very minor. I'm going to list it for more on reverb soon, but I though I'd post it here first. I'd like to get $3500 plus shipping or pickup / delivery in the Boston area but could go down a bit for someone on the forum. Comes with a not original hard case.

Also available - MIJ Jazz upgraded with Dave Allen pickups. Dave Allen makes fantastic boutique pickups and this bass sounds fantastic. Its a sea foam color and looks brand new. Plays and sounds smooth. Comes with the original hard case - $500 plus shipping.

Carvin LB-76 - beautiful red koa wood with ebony neck, sounds great, active passive selector. One of the knobs is missing though you can still adjust it. A few cosmetic blemishes but again looks excellent, with original hard case. $600 plus shipping.

Schecter 8 string - like new, with soft case - $450 plus shipping.

Warwick German made 5 string fretless corvette with original case, strung with limited edition La Bella game of death strings, with set of Rotosounds if you don't like tape wounds. - $1000 plus shipping.

Pictures to follow shortly when I have some time.
