TELECASTER 1971 Mint

Post by slybass3000 »

It's time for me to let go my treasures to pay for special treatments...

Here is an amazing Telecaster 1971 in top notch condition. I believe in fact that it is made up with the early parts of 1968 but got put together in 1971 according to the dates on the neck and on the pots.

Neck is dated 23 SEPT 68 C
Pots are 304-7116 Stack pole, 16th week of 1971.
SN 335362

9.4 lbs with the covers

I'm asking $5,000 US + shipping. I'm a little bit negotiable but no trades please unless it is a miracle :-)

More pics available on request, send me your email.

Ohhh Also the bass comes with goodies..... A Fender bridge Deluxe that fits perfectly on it with individuals saddles and screws for accurate settings and tuning and a special custom-made Split-coil Left-hand Lindy Fralin noise-free pick-up. Comes with the Original Hard Case.

Yeah, Double Drool!

Probably never see a better deal on a true lefty single coil P.

Very tempting...

One question. I'm sure that Fralin rocks and I'd probably prefer it but do you also include the original pickup?

The bass has the original pickup on it. I do prefer the original pickup personally but in my old house, the noise was a bit of a problem so I asked Lindy to build me a noiseless. It comes as a bonus with the bass and the Deluxe bridge as well. In my new studio I don't have that problem, the sound is very clean even with the single coil.

Man I hate to see this thing fall into the hands of a hoarder/collector or a dealer who will flip it for double...it needs to be played. I just can't come up with it right now. I plan to sell off some gear but it will be a while. Wish I never saw this.

Hang in there man and hang onto that Tele. She's a beaut and you'll regret selling her. One day at a time man. One day at a time.

All, Sylvain is one of the best, we communicated over email and I informed him at any time if the situation changes and he wants it back I would sell back at the same price no questions asked.
