That looks really nice. I love the body color and your choice for the neck.

Thanks guys. I'm really excited. I could probably do it on my own, but two people is always better than one and he has more experience than I do.

I love this late 60's Jazz look with the blocks! Cool color too.

Cool choices, gonna look good together! :)

Q: how are the frets on those Warmoth necks?
In your photo (copied from TB for our convenience) it looks like squared off, but that's probably due to the camera/contrast/lighting.

Thanks for the replies guys. It is kind of squared off. I'll have to take more pictures as it is hard to explain. The outsides are flat but tilt inward.
They kind of look like this with a little bit of curve. /-------\

Bad news and good news. My band room got way too cluttered and I was improperly storing stuff and I accidentally knocked a piece of metal onto the bass body. It took two smallish chips out of the body. I don't need a lecture, I already know how completely idiotic I am. The guy helping me build it said he should be able to fix it pretty easily and it won't cut into the build time. I am heading to his place this weekend to work on it (the good news).

More bad news and good news. Bad news is a neck screw broke off inside the neck and body. We got it our no permanent damage.... The good news is all of the holes are drilled. Just needs to be re-painted now and the mishap from my the previous post. Should be done in 2-3 weeks to let the paint set, wet sanding, buffing, etc.
