I'm sorry you guy but I have to bail out with one.

I was listed:
saf +2 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U. / Sonic blue -- 1 P.U.

But due do some unforseen things I just have to let one go.

So It would be:

Saf: Sonic BLue - 2 pup.

I'm sorry, you guys.

I'm starting this new thread to see if we can gather the requested number of purchasers this year.
You can see the bass here: http://www.bachmusik.com/c211/model-th/
For those who doesn't now the bass, it's all mahogany with an Artec Alnico pickup. Those who have already bought the first run of righties are impressed of the quality of the instrument.
The price will not be the same as on their homepage, Roman from Bach told me: "That current price is the correct one but . . . .
I think if You are able to gather 20 guys and to vouch for taking of all basses
You can get a very similar price to the old one."

The old one was 160€

Current purchasers are:
Me +1 -- Trans. Red
AustinLeftyBass +1--White
Basshappi +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.
pjmuck +2-- Sonic blue (2nd Trans Red) -- 2 P.U. - Honeyburst -- 2 P.U.
andrew +1 -- Honeyburst -- 2 P.U.
Carmine +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.
reynoldbot +1 -- Honeyburst -- 2 P.U.
jeroen +1(mb. 2) -- White -- 2 P.U.
Rush +1 -- Trans Red -- 2 P.U.
Matt R +1 -- Sonic blue
Malfunct8 +1 -- Honeyburst -- 2 P.U.

Thunder +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.
Nilezd +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.
saf +1 -- Sonic blue -- 2 P.U.
baronvonballad +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.
ratsla +1 -- Honeyburst -- 1 P.U.
jetluz666 +1 -- Honeyburst -- 2 P.U.
Others +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.

We need another buyer, C'mon!!

It shouldn't be any problem, as long as your ok with the shipping costs, i think sending to Aus. will cost more than to US.

I'm still seriously considering this - almost decided. A question: does anyone know anything about the pick-ups? Who makes them, how they sound compared to an original Gibson T-Bird unit, are they noisy etc etc.

Thanks for any help!

DONE! Anyway, you can still get on the list if others are interested.

Agent; The pickups are Artec, Alnico5, dual rail. they're not bad, not an exact copy of the old Tbird pickup. They got the usual look and dimensions of a soapbar, if you rasp the corners a little they'll fit under the old Tbird chrome covers (like those for sale on the bay). The pickup itself has a metallic painted plastic cover.

Monday i'll contact Roman

Whoo! This is pretty exciting! And the timing is excellent: I just got a paycheck, there's plenty of cash in my account, and I don't have to pay rent for another couple weeks. I't lookin pretty good!

Yes, I've heard of the Fenderbirds on the Dutch basgitaarforum. Very cool, maybe even cooler than the NR T-bird.

That's good to hear. I'm fine with waiting as long as we are getting some updates and not being left in the dark about what's going on.

Thanks again for taking on this Bachbird project Iome. :)
