I'm just wondering how the builder will feel once he discovers that he is supplying most of the planet with lefty models of his bass in one fell swoop?

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I'm afraid you have been watching the normal reverse version, take a look at the link in my first post, you'll see what bass we are talking about.

I think me talking about that 5 string brought some confusion. What I meant was can I get a black one, as shown in the link, but without the pickguard and with 2 PU's?

Edit: If i'm being to demanding, say so and i'll take a trans red ;)

Considering I already have a black bass I'll go for the trans red 2 PU!
No special requests for the pickguard on this one ;)

Excuse me, I'm little confused. Could anybody summarize the detail of lefty bachbird aquisition?

1. Price of standard lefty bachbird?
2. Payment Method?
3. How long does it take to make a lefty bachbird?
4. Will the Bach company ship to me(Bangkok) directly or they use
shipping agency(eg. DHL) ?
5. The shipping package(gig bag, hard case or just a paper box)?
5. If I want a trans-blue 5 string 2 humbuckers lefty bachbird, How much is the extra charge?

1. you can see the standard price on the link in my first post
2. bank transfer
3. Dont know
4. They look for the cheapest way to do it
5. it's very well packaged in buble wrap and a paper case
5. (6) I don't think they'll include the option in the run

I've done the currency conversion, and from 160 euros it converts to $218.31. Is it reasonable to assume this will be similar to the final price before shipping (and optionally a hard case)?

I'm starting this new thread to see if we can gather the requested number of purchasers this year.
You can see the bass here: http://www.bachmusik.com/c211/model-th/
For those who doesn't now the bass, it's all mahogany with an Artec Alnico pickup. Those who have already bought the first run of righties are impressed of the quality of the instrument.
The price will not be the same as on their homepage, Roman from Bach told me: "That current price is the correct one but . . . .
I think if You are able to gather 20 guys and to vouch for taking of all basses
You can get a very similar price to the old one."

The old one was 160€

Current purchasers are:
Me +1 -- Trans. Red
AustinLeftyBass +1--White
Basshappi +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.
pjmuck +1-- Sonic blue (2nd Trans Red) -- 2 P.U.
andrew +1 -- Honeyburst -- 2 P.U.
Carmine +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.
reynoldbot +1 -- Honeyburst -- 2 P.U.
jeroen +1(mb. 2) -- White -- 2 P.U.
Rush +1 -- Trans Red -- 2 P.U.
Matt R +1 -- Sonic blue
Malfunct8 +1 -- Honeyburst -- 2 P.U.
AzWhoFan +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.
Thunder +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.
Nilezd +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.
saf +2 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U. / Sonic blue -- 1 P.U.
baronvonballad +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.

We need another 3 buyers, C'mon!!
