I'm starting this new thread to see if we can gather the requested number of purchasers this year.
You can see the bass here: http://www.bachmusik.com/c211/model-th/
For those who doesn't now the bass, it's all mahogany with an Artec Alnico pickup. Those who have already bought the first run of righties are impressed of the quality of the instrument.
The price will not be the same as on their homepage, Roman from Bach told me: "That current price is the correct one but . . . .
I think if You are able to gather 20 guys and to vouch for taking of all basses
You can get a very similar price to the old one."

The old one was 160€

Current purchasers are:
Me +1 -- Trans. Red
AustinLeftyBass +1--White
Basshappi +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.
pjmuck +1-- Lightblue (2nd Trans Red) -- 2 P.U.
andrew +1 -- Honeyburst -- 2 P.U.
Carmine +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.
reynoldbot +1 -- Honeyburst -- 2 P.U.
jeroen +1(mb. 2) -- White -- 2 P.U.
Rush +1 -- Trans Red -- 2 P.U.
Matt R +1 -- Lightblue
Malfunct8 +1 -- Honeyburst -- 2 P.U.
AzWhoFan +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.
Thunder +1 -- Trans. Red -- 2 P.U.
Others (Jeroen, let me know) + 3?

We need another 7 (maybe 3) buyers, i see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Do we have to agree on one finish, or will these be available in the various finishes the righty ones are available in?

I'm in for one too. I'll post a request on Facebook as well and see if we get any interest.

I seem to recall the last time we tried this that the money did not have to be collected first and that if they simply had to have enough requested orders, which seems a bit risky on their part. Can you confirm this?

I confirm, that's the way they did the first time, but as you can see in the first post, i have to vouch for them someway, so let's all be sure to by the bass.... :|

I think they give us 3 colors to choose between.
Tell me the color you prefer and i write it in the very first post with the names. Tell me also what color you would like and if you prefer 1 or 2 P.U.'s

The old price looks pretty good, and if it's still in that ballpark I would be interested. I'll have to think about what color/pickup options I want, but I'll let you know.

Assuming we get word on an actual price and when they need deposits I'd be in for 1 in honeyburst, two pickup version.

My preference would be a light blue (SB) one with 2 PUPs, but I don't see a 2 PUP one offered on their site. Having one with 2 PUPs is definitely more important to me than the color, however, so let me know what color options are available for a 2 PUP. My second choice would be the trans red I suppose.

Yeah, editing posts has a time limit. Just quote your first post, make the updates to it and I'll come in sporadically and edit your first post to reflect the new info.

Man, I really like the off-white and trans-red. Too bad my Jazz is off-white and my Jag is OCA Red.

I'll go with the Honey Burst with 2 pickups.

They haven't made them yet so any color/P.U. choice is possible

I'm in too. White or trans red (depending on available options), 2-pickup!

Edit: make that two. If I like it, I might use the second one for lower tunings.

Iome, you might consider posting about this over on Arni's site as well.

He's a member here, and a very friendly guy. I've met him on the Lefty Bass Day in Duisburg last summer.
